Dora Vell is President of Vell & Associates, a retained
technology executive search firm. She is an internationally
recognized expert in executive search for technology C-level,
Vice Presidents and board members. She works with start up organizations
through Fortune 50 firms. Prior retained search experience includes
several years as a partner in the Heidrick & Struggles technology
practice. Ms. Vell’s corporate experience includes management
of a $150MM software business for IBM and a senior engineering
executive with IBM authoring seven worldwide patents. She has
authored numerous articles, is a featured speaker at various
conferences focusing on leadership and serves on several boards.
She earned her MBA from the University of Toronto, a Masters
in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor
degree in computer Science from Carleton University.
