About the Speaker:
Nicola James is the founding Managing Partner of Thomas Brooke
International. In business since 1993, the firm places senior
executives for a range of clients from $10MM family owned businesses
to a $1Billion division of a Fortune 500 company. She has also
developed talent and ownership succession plans and troubleshoots
chronic hiring and organizational effectiveness problems. She
has personally negotiated many senior executive offers, including
performance incentives, stock and phantom stock programs, international relocations and a variety of other unique
and complex scenarios. Nicola also provides career advice and
coaching to senior executives. Nicola majored in inorganic and
theoretical chemistry at Cambridge University and after an early
career as a published cartoonist and artist, went on to become
a winemaker in England. She has lived in the United States since
1992.
