THE FACE-TO-FACE
INTERVIEW: Making the Most of Every Minute.
Guest
Speaker: Randy
Block, Executive Coach specializing in Career Transition:Staffing
and Onboarding Consultant for HighTech companies.
Class Description: Congratulations. You passed
your phone screen. You are going to meet your date. Face to
face.
Today, it is pretty much established that the most qualified
candidate may not get the offer. The offer usually goes to the
candidate who interviews the best. But what does that mean?
Common complaints about interviewing I hear from executives?
“The Interview went well and I haven’t heard from
the company yet!” “I came in second place—again!”
“I got through it but it was nerve racking”. I was
referred in by the CEO’s Chairman and I didn’t get
the offer!” And on and on.
In an executive search role, Randy has interviewed thousands
of executives. Today, he successfully coaches executives through
the interviewing process using techniques that work today. His
opinion…“If you had excellent interviewing skills,
you probably would be employed by now."
In this 90 minute session you will learn:
- The hiring myths that cloud hiring managers’ minds.
- The common mistakes that candidates make that ensure a bad
fit.
- Why having the right answer is not enough.
- Effective preparation that make you relevant.
- What goes into your “Interview Kit”.

hint, it’s not getting the offer).
